Paying by bank card

Which cards the marketplace accepts, how a payment goes through, and what to do if it fails.

1.What you can pay with

1.1Visa, Mastercard and Elcard cards issued by banks in the Kyrgyz Republic and abroad are accepted.
1.2Payments are made in som; if a price is shown in another currency, the issuing bank converts it at its own rate on the day of the transaction.
1.3Cash on delivery is not available: an order is handed to the courier only after it is paid.

2.How a payment goes through

2.1After checkout the buyer is taken to the secure payment page of the FreedomPay processing centre.
2.2Card details are entered on the payment provider side; the marketplace neither receives, processes nor stores them.
2.3The payment is confirmed with 3-D Secure — a one-time code sent by the card issuer.
2.4Once confirmed, the buyer returns to the marketplace and the order becomes «paid».
2.5A basket with goods from several shops is split into separate orders, and each is paid for separately.

3.When the money is taken

3.1The card is charged at the moment the payment is confirmed.
3.2The marketplace holds the payment until the order is confirmed as delivered, and releases it to the seller afterwards.
3.3An unpaid order may be cancelled automatically before dispatch — paying again means placing a new order.

4.If the payment fails

4.1A refusal by the bank is shown immediately; the order stays unpaid and the goods stay in the basket.
4.2Common reasons: insufficient funds, the bank blocking online payments, a wrong confirmation code, an expired card.
4.3If the money left your account but the order is not marked paid, write to support with the order number and the time of the transaction — we check with the payment provider and return the amount if the payment did not reach us.

5.Security

5.1Connections to the marketplace and to the payment page are encrypted.
5.2Payments are processed by FreedomPay, a provider certified to the PCI DSS standard.
5.3The marketplace stores no card numbers: paying again means entering the card on the provider side once more.
